Informations for
Architects and Departments
To process plans quickly and easy, we need information and details that are essential for the model. If a plan contains many layers or elements that are not relevant for the construction of the model, an avoidable effort arises when cleaning and sorting is done by us.
The following formats are available for simple data exchange:
-.dwg (plan files)
-.dxf (plan files)
-.ifc (BIM-model)
-.stl (3D-modell for 3D-print)
-.stp (3D-modell for 3D-processing)
-.svg / .eps (graphic files)
-.pdf
A model can have many shapes and colors.
The more information you provide, the easier it will be to estimate the final cost.
Give us a call and we will be happy to advise you.
Depending on the model, we need the following information for a proposal:
- Floor plans
- Site plan
- Facade views
- requirement characteristics
As the design is often adapted during its creation, competitions are usually charged on a time and material basis. It is only possible to give a target price based on plans or sketches.
We will gladly take care of the submission of your project.
If a model is needed in multiple versions it is worth making a casting mold based on the basic model made of plastic or wood.
With this mold, the model can easily be duplicated.
Ranging from small to large series with far more than 100 casts, everything is feasible in our workshop.
Depending on the size, plaster models usually need 3-5 days to dry.
Just as with the plaster model small as well as large series are possible with the plastic casted model.
The advantage of plastic casted lies in its stability.
The rather more elaborate process is particularly rewarding for international competitions where the models are sent abroad.
We produce white, custom-fit cardboard boxes for every manufactured model.
Our in-house production gives us great flexibility.
Cardboard boxes can be ordered from us in custom sizes.
